Le Corbeau

Brasserie Le Corbeau

Our Story

One of the oldest breweries in Brussels

Founded in 1875, it will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2025.
Back then, the street was called “Rue du Chant d’Oiseau.” Every shop on the street was named after a bird. The shops have disappeared, the street’s name has changed several times, but Le Corbeau has remained.

Festive weekend atmosphere and concerts

On Friday and Saturday nights, Le Corbeau transforms into a dance café, a tradition that began in the 1980s. Back then, guests would come for a drink in a lively atmosphere. The owner brought in a DJ, and little by little, customers started dancing on the tables despite his reluctance, as he feared breaking the iconic Chevalier glasses. That moment marked the beginning of a truly unique celebration in Brussels.
